On May 15, 2016 Mohammed I. Alshaikh soloed!! With proud instructor Herman Gonzalez looking on and talking with Mohammad on the radio, Mohammad pushed the throttle forward and took to the beautiful, cloudless skies of Murfreesboro Tennessee.
Mohammad is from Saudi Arabia, and is one of Murfreesboro Aviation’s many international students. Mohammad is the first person in his family to pursue any activities in aviation. He is studying Aviation Management and working his way through all of his flying ratings. Instructor Herman Gonzalez describes Mohammad as dedicated, sharp, and a very fun student.
